A team of our teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators spent the past two days attending the PLC at Work Institute. During this time, they collaborated with educators from across the district, explored effective instructional practices, and strengthened their understanding of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).

We are excited to bring back new ideas, strategies, and resources that will help us continue supporting student success and fostering a culture of learning and growth!

June is almost here, and with it comes National PTSD Awareness Month.

At the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center, we walk beside children whose trauma isn’t always visible but is deeply felt. PTSD can shape how a child sees the world β€” but with safety, compassion, and consistent support, healing becomes possible.

Our mission has always been to protect children, restore hope, and help families rebuild after abuse and trauma. As we prepare to honor this important month, we stand with every child who has shown courage in the face of fear and pain.

Thank you to everyone in our community who supports our work.
No child should walk their healing journey alone, and we remain committed to walking with them every step of the way.
