With the continued growth of the County, the Water System is constantly working to improve water quality and make the water system stronger and more reliable for everyone. As more homes and businesses are built, the demand for safe, dependable drinking water increases, and we want to stay ahead of that growth.

We have recently started drilling a test well to study the water supply in this area and determine if it is a good location for a future production well. This process helps us evaluate water quality, and long-term reliability before making a final decision.

If the test well is successful, a new well could be added next year. This new well would help increase the system’s capacity, reduce strain on existing wells, and provide a backup water source in case of emergencies, maintenance, or unexpected issues. Our goal is to ensure a safe, dependable water supply for our customer now and for years to come. πŸ’§
