Councilman Dan Schuberth & Robbinsville Township Receive Highest Honors from the National Alliance on Mental Illness!
Councilman Schuberth was honored as NAMI’s 2019 Pillar Award recipient at the annual Gala held at the Mercer County Boathouse on Friday evening. The Pillar Award, established in 2012, honors individuals who have made a consistent and significant contribution to achieving the organization's mission through volunteerism, leadership, advocacy, and charitable giving for five years or more. Councilman Schuberth served as NAMI Mercer President in 2019, and helped raise over $100,000 to support NAMI’s community programming and stigma-free mental health campaign over his six years of involvement with the distinguished non-profit.
Mayor Fried and Robbinsville Township received the 2019 Community Partner award, with dozens of supportive Robbinsville residents in attendance. The Robbinsville Community has played a significant role in NAMI’s annual mental health walks through Team Robbinsville, and has hosted NAMI Mercer speakers at local schools and houses of worship. The award is a significant milestone in what has been a long and fruitful partnership to support individuals and families impacted by mental illness.
