I had a chance to visit the Robbinsville History Museum at the Little Red Schoolhouse today, located next to the library. It was a wonderful reminder of the rich history that makes our community so special.

From our early days when this area was formed by small communities such as Hungry Hill, Newtown, Stumptown, Centreville and Windsor to the formation of Washington Township in 1859 and then renamed as Robbinsville Township in January 2008, the museum highlights the people, families, businesses, schools and traditions that shaped our town while preserving and sharing its story.

Places like the Little Red Schoolhouse help us remember where we came from, honor those who came before us and share that history with future generations.

A special thank you to the many volunteers over the years and to our current Archivist, Ellie, for their hard work preserving Robbinsville’s past. If you haven’t been yet, I encourage you to visit and take a walk through our history!

The museum will be open again on October 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A portion of the Township’s 2026 Municipal Capital Plan includes investments in pedestrian safety and infrastructure, reflecting our continued commitment to making sure our roads, sidewalks and crossings are as safe as possible for our students, families and entire community.

In addition to the new and upgraded crosswalks provided by the Township this summer, we have added two new crossing guards at the corners of Robbinsville-Edinburg Road & Park Street, as well as Tindall Road & Annie Drive/Reagan Lane. These additional safety measures were implemented directly in response to the school district’s 2026 courtesy busing cuts.

While decisions regarding school transportation are made by the Board of Education, the Township is responding to the impacts those decisions may have on our community. We will continue working proactively to address pedestrian safety and make the necessary investments to protect our children as they travel to and from school.

What an incredible evening at National Night Out in our new location!

It was great seeing everyone who came out to spend time with our first responders, community organizations, neighbors and friends. Watching so many families enjoying the evening together is a great reminder of what makes Robbinsville such a special place to call home.

A special thank you to the Robbinsville Township Police Department for hosting another outstanding National Night Out. Your hard work, dedication and commitment to building strong relationships with our community were on full display. Events like this help strengthen the trust and partnerships that keep Robbinsville a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Thank you as well to all of our volunteers, sponsors and community partners who helped make the evening such a success. We appreciate everything you do for our township each and every day.

I’m already looking forward to next year’s event!!

See you tomorrow night!

We hope everyone can join us for National Night Out tomorrow from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM!

This event will take place in the rear parking lot of our new building at 2300 Route 33, where you’ll find all of our vendor tables, food, DJ, and bounce houses!

**Please note that this parking lot will be closed to all vehicle traffic during the event.**

Congratulations to the Robbinsville Little League Softball 8’s All-Star Team on an incredible achievement of becoming the 2026 New Jersey State Champions!

This is a tremendous accomplishment for this talented group of young athletes, their dedicated coaches and their families. Your hard work, teamwork, determination and good sportsmanship made our entire community proud.

Enjoy your well-deserved celebration, you’ve earned it!

I'm proud to announce the beneficiary of my first State of the Township/Pay it Forward event on October 13, 2026 at The Stone Terrace by John Henry is the Robbinsville Food Pantry!

A staple of former mayor Dave Fried’s tenure, the Robbinsville Food Pantry has helped individuals and families with food insecurity for more than 30 years. The RFP currently operates in the cramped quarters of the Vincent J. Calcagno Senior Center with little to no refrigeration for perishable items. Mayor Todd’s vision is to expand the pantry into a larger space, thus providing greater access to refrigerated storage and fresh, nutritious and accessible food, as well as serving as a more convenient pick-up location for residents.

Funds raised through this year's event will help to:

* Expand the food pantry into a larger, more accessible location
* Purchase additional shelving and storage
* Increase the availability of fresh and refrigerated foods
* Stock more of the pantry's most requested items
* Better serve the growing number of individuals and families who rely on the food pantry

Mayor Todd believes every member of our Robbinsville community facing food insecurity deserves access to a wider variety of healthy food choices. His goal is to help make the Robbinsville Food Pantry more accessible to continue meeting the increasing needs of our residents.

“The Robbinsville Food Pantry is a true asset and a vital part of what makes our community special,” said Mayor Todd, who will deliver his inaugural State of the Township address that evening. “The ability to expand into a larger space with refrigeration and more convenient access for residents is something we have wanted to do for a long time. We are so grateful for all of the donations the pantry has received over the years, and our hope is the generous spirit of our community will only grow once they see what we believe the RFP is truly capable of.”

Past Pay it Forward recipients include the Shepherd family, Quilts for Comfort, Deb Dauer, C.A.R.E., Mercer Street Friends Food Bank, the “We Love Our R'ville Neighbors” campaign, the Breden and McLaughlin families, Robbinsville Meals on Wheels, and the Walls family.

Fundraising for the 2026 effort is underway and corporate sponsorships levels of $10,000, $5,000, $2,500, $1500 and $500 are available. Individual tickets are $150, and $1,350 for a table of ten.
