There will be a public memorial March 10 at the Nantahala Outdoor Center for Maria Noakes, a world-renowned kayaker who died in the Cheoah River.

Pics and my best description of the right slot and auto boof line at python. Nasty stuff , pics don't do it justice. Person in one of the pics is 5ft 7 standing by auto boof line. She could easily be swallowed by any of these holes.this is just an idea of what we paddle over. Check accident reports, python is the main subject.
