What we do:
• Raise funds for unique learning experiences, classroom supplies, and enrichment activities for Lakeview students
• Have fun building relationships that last beyond the elementary school years
• Provide a friendly space for sharing information on issues that impact our children at school and in the community

It is our belief that the team effort of a Parent Teacher Organization offer

s the best possible learning environment for our children. In 2021, we will begin the year with virtual meetings, typically the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. When it is safe to return to school, we will meet in the LVE teacher’s lounge. Congratulations to our very own Susan Cunningham, 2nd Grade Teacher at Lakeview, for being voted as the RFT Teacher of the Year for Robbinsdale Area Schools! Our school community is very fortunate to have her excellence, and her students love her!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to say a heartfelt "THANK YOU!" to our wonderful Lakeview teachers and staff! We value you, we are grateful for you, and our students benefit from all the ways- big and small- that you guide them.

You and your learner can show your appreciation for a teacher or staff member by sending a thank you note, drawing or favorite treat to school this week. Let's show them how much we care!

Nothing Bundt Cakes and Caribou Coffee gift cards were delivered to our teachers and staff today, courtesy of Lakeview Elementary PTO. We appreciate all that you do for your students- those learning in person AND those learning online. It's taken creativity, flexibility, and lots of love. Robins Rock!

Our Story

The Lakeview PTO is a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are all dedicated to the successful education of our children. The PTO works hard to help make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers, and parents. If you are a parent/guardian of a Lakeview student, we welcome you to be a part of our PTO by attending meetings and volunteering for school events!

We plan and organize events such as the Fun Run, Family Fun Night, Book Fairs, and social events. Many of these events help raise funds to support Lakeview. We also volunteer and use the funds we raise to provide classroom supplies and teaching aids to staff and students. Our group meets once a month to discuss school programs, plan fundraisers and events, and share ideas (meeting dates can be found under “Events” and on Lakeview’s website). PTO Meetings are held monthly at 6:30pm in the Lakeview Teachers’ Lounge. We discuss and plan events, as well as receive updates from school staff/administration. Kids are always welcome!
