Friendship Fire Company had a busy weekend between the raffle event Saturday and 6 calls coming in to respond to. Prior to the raffle crews responded to a MVC in the area of Dunnings Highway and Brethren lane to assist Station 40. During the raffle our standby crew from Newburg was dispatched to assist on a vehicle fire on I99. Thanks to the standby crew for helping out during our event. Saturday night our crew responded to a MVA into a tree on Bloomfield road with heavy entrapment requiring the use of our Amkus Battery Operated tools, Sunday our crews responded to a possible brush fire on Cherry Street and a minor MVC on Poplar street in the borough and this morning our crews were dispatched to another MVA over an embankment in the area of 4417 Woodbury pike requiring use of our Rope and rigging equipment and battery operated Amkus tools to get the patient up the embankment for EMS crew to transport. Excellent job by all the crews involved as well as our mutual aid departments and Amed who responded to assist on the calls.

Here is the stihl package that we are raffling off at McCoys Lawn and Garden. Tickets will be a 20.00 donation and 1 winner gets all the new power equipment, a 500 dollar gift card to McCoys, also gets eye and hearing protection. The number above and the number below the winning number will receive 1,000 dollars as well. Tickets will be out this weekend so see any member of the fire hall or stop over at McCoys and you can get your tickets there as well. As always we thank you for your continued support and we are greatly appreciated for it.
