What a sweet way to celebrate our 8th graders!
Students enjoyed a special donut breakfast sendoff! They enjoyed their donuts while signing each other's yearbooks as they wrapped up their middle school journey together.
We are so proud of the Class of 2030 and all they have accomplished during their time at SCMS. While we will certainly miss seeing them in our halls next year, we know they are ready for great things in high school!

Mrs. Wagner’s Drama class presented “The Mystery of the Gumdrop Dragon" which is a short children's play focusing on a princess whose beloved pet dragon goes missing. The plot follows the search for the dragon to restore happiness to the kingdom. The members of the Drama class presented the play to several classes at CHS and also to the elementary students at both SCE and MES and did an outstanding job with the performances.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that help connect students across grade levels while fostering creativity, imagination, and a love for the arts.

SCMS students participated in Up, Up, & Innovate on May 8th. Made possible by a grant from Remake Learning Days, this activity allowed students to design a paper-plate glider and then test the design in a school-wide competition.

Remake Learning Days is a nationwide festival of innovative learning that gives students and families opportunities to explore creativity, science, technology, the arts, and hands-on experiences in new and exciting ways.

Thank you to Mrs. Bianconi and Mr. Lightner for designing and planning a great day! Teachers are innovators, too!
