🙋🏽‍♀️Garden City sends out a gigantic shout out and THANK YOU to Sarah Dawn Holdren-Butt. Another one of our wonderful parents took the time to bake delicious banana and strawberry muffins for our students finishing out the week taking their reading SOL's. Words do not express how appreciative we are to you and your generosity. The students devoured their muffins and did wonderful today remembering their test taking strategies! Our scholars finished the week off strong and we look forward to conquering math next week! The Garden is lucky to have the parents that we do! 💗

Students: remember to get plenty of rest and arrive on time. 😁

Aaaaaaand the shout out today goes to Mcdonalds Vinton for providing the biscuits for our SOL testers today! We appreciate you so much, and so do our students!!!!

Shout out to Bojangles Vinton for Donating breakfast biscuits to Garden City so that our 4th, and 5th graders had a nice warm meal before taking their SOL's today! We all appreciate you and your generosity! We had many students say " That biscuit was good!"

A Giant Gator THANK YOU to Scratch Biscuit Company for providing a hearty warm breakfast for our 5th graders on day one of our SOL testing! They were fueled, confident, and ready to go with a full tummy! Garden City Elementary appreciates you so much!

As we concluded Teacher Appreciation Week at The Garden, today we had the pleasure of treating our teachers and staff to lunch from Macado's Tanglewood. A special shout out to Macado’s for preparing such delicious sandwiches—complete with their signature pickle and an enormous cookie that made the meal even more memorable. During this time, we were also delighted to distribute teacher appreciation gifts made possible through the generosity of the Garden City Elementary PTA: personalized name stamps for each teacher. Now, every paper, planner, and classroom note can be marked with a little extra style and a personal touch—because every great teacher deserves a signature stamp as unique as they are. This week would not have been possible without our wonderful Garden City Elementary PTA, Garden City Administration and the Garden City Community. We really are lucky to have the students and families that we care about and serve each day! Thank you Parents for all that you do as well! We appreciate you too!
