Senior parents, this is the beginning of a senior information sheet based on the best available information we have at the time. Any or everything could change, but we wanted to start somewhere to give you information for everything from senior year anticipated expenses to what kinds of clothes students are required to have for graduation. (Nothing like your kid telling you the night before capping that they need dark pants and dress shoes!)

This document contains the new school calendar and we'll add senior year info. as it becomes available. This will be our class lifeline for the year. We'll update/edit/change it frequently so save this doc, pin it your toolbar, and refer to it often.

Check it out when you have time, save it/pin it, and most importantly, enjoy your summer with your rising senior and make all the moments, big and small, count! We look forward to a great senior year but not just yet....haha....summer awaits!

*We included some senior year expenses but as the document states, pricing is based on last year's prices and unfortunately we live in a world where the price of everything goes up every year.

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Musick to Handley High School!

⭐️Roanoke City Schools is pleased to introduce Mrs. Tena Musick as the new Handley High School principal. Mrs. Musick has more than 30 years of experience in education and is a familiar face within our system serving the past seven years as principal at Knight Enloe Elementary School and Handley Middle School. Mrs. Musick is passionate about student success and is committed to fostering a supportive, engaging environment where every student can thrive. She deeply values the Handley family and looks forward to building strong relationships with our high school students, staff, families, and the community. Outside of school, Mrs. Musick enjoys golfing and reading. She and her husband, Tommy, have been married for 42 years and are proud parents of two children and grandparents to four grandchildren who bring them endless joy. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Musick as she begins this exciting new chapter at Handley High School!⭐️

Today, we celebrate the remarkable career of Todd Cole and thank him for his tireless dedication to Handley High School. As an educator, coach, and administrator, his leadership, vision, and countless initiatives have helped move our school forward while leaving a lasting impact on generations of students and staff.

Beyond his accomplishments, it is his friendship, encouragement, and unwavering support that will be missed the most.

We wish Todd all the happiness he deserves in this next chapter—a season filled with well-earned rest, new adventures, and precious time with his loving family.

Thank you, Mr. Cole, for all you have given to Handley High School. You will always be a Tiger. ❤️🐅
