The RPD "Each One Teach One" program concluded on May 26, 2026, after several weeks of learning, growth, and empowerment. Throughout the program, participants gained valuable life skills focused on self-confidence, leadership, decision-making, positive relationships, and personal responsibility. The young ladies were encouraged to recognize their strengths, set goals, make positive choices, and develop the resilience needed to overcome life's challenges.

During the final session, our guest speakers shared the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and reminded participants that their power is in their pause. The group learned practical tools for building mental fitness and managing adversity in healthy ways so they can continue to thrive beyond the program.

A special thank you to all the speakers for inspiring messages and dedication to our young ladies. We are also grateful to TARGET for donating gift bags and CRUSH YOUR GOALS inspirational note card sets, and to QDOBA and CHICK FIL A for providing delicious meals. Appreciation is also extended to the Melrose Library staff, RPD recruits, Officer Wyatt Cobler and many others for their support throughout the program.

Thank you to all the participants who made this year's "Each One Teach One" program a success. We look forward to seeing the positive impact these future leaders will make in our community.
