Good Afternoon Everyone:
A quick update regarding collections.
Sunday Customers: We are going to collect on Thursday (01-29-2026) afternoon. We will make all reasonable attempts to access your bin, but some neighborhoods may still be inaccessible. This collection will serve for yesterday and next Sunday (02-01-2026). We are monitoring the rumblings about another winter system next weekend, and coupled with the late pick up this week, will avoid collection next Sunday also. You may leave some extra material since collections will be limited the next two weeks. I will email everyone this information as there may be some without Facebook.
Wednesday Customers: We will go ahead with collections within the usual time frame on 01-28-2026. Again, all reasonable attempts will be made to get your bin. There are a few of you located in very steep neighborhoods and my trailer is a big anchor with the roads in the current conditions. If your bin is not emptied, collection will not occur again until the following Wednesday (02-04-2026).
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. The main roads are clear but the residential streets are mostly ice covered. I’m hoping that with three days of plowing/treatment we will be able to get to most of you within the next few days. Stay safe and warm and as always, thank you for your understanding when the schedule gets throw out of whack!
