Before most of the world hit snooze, our SURF and summer students were already chasing the sunrise from the top of McAfee K**b! 🌄🥾
For all of these students, this morning marked their very first hike on the legendary Appalachian Trail—a bucket-list experience right here in our own backyard. As the sun painted the Blue Ridge Mountains in shades of gold and pink, students shared laughs, challenged themselves on the climb, and created memories that will last far beyond the summer.
From first steps on the trail to breathtaking views at the summit, this adventure was the perfect reminder that some of the best learning experiences happen outside the classroom. Here's to new experiences, new friendships, and unforgettable sunrises!
