The old Valley View Walmart bus stop in comparison to the new temporary bus stop. People do have to walk a little bit farther to get to temporary bus stop, but the real problem is that they have to walk all the way down the Walmart parking lot and through the gas station parking lot as well.
The beginning of the sidewalk that runs through this grassy area where people are sitting. The beginning of the sidewalk is sloped from the parking lot for pedestrians and wheelchairs.

What's better than a bus stop party? A bus stop party in the RAIN! We crowned this year's Sorriest Bus Stop, Ogden SB at Leslie, with friends and fun and plenty of raindrops. We cleaned the sign, picked up litter, and handed out cupcakes and sodas. A good time was had by all, and we hope the bus stop - and the riders - are feeling the love. of Roanoke, Virginia - Government this stop IS within the city limits. What would it take to get a sidewalk here? People use this stop; bus stops generate pedestrians!

Saturday, April 25th, 5:15 pm - come join us at Ogden SB at Leslie for our Sorriest Bus Stop Party! (It's near Tanglewood Mall.) We will give the stop a little makeover and share refreshments while we wait for the bus to come by (near 5:45). If you arrive by bus (the #55) we will cheer your arrival!

The final four is over and here is our championship face-off! Hunt EB at Liberty vs. Ogden SB at Leslie. Hunt is in the top 25% of used bus stops although it is literally a pole on an ivy covered embankment - people wait across the street and dart over when they see the bus coming. Ogden is even more highly used - top 15% - and the lack of sidewalk next to this busy road is frankly terrifying. Which is worse? Vote at www.brrag.org to let us know what you think!
