We're looking for the next member of our Parks & Recreation team!

The City of Roanoke is now hiring a Parks Maintenance Worker I. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to make a visible difference in the community every day.

From maintaining beautiful park spaces to helping prepare facilities for community events, you'll be part of the team that helps create the places where families gather, children play, and memories are made.

📍 Position: Parks Maintenance Worker I

💲 Pay: $20.30 - $29.44/hour (DOQ)

🕒 Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM & Friday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

The splash pad at City Hall is currently out of service while repairs are being made.

City staff has been working to identify a solution and restore operations as quickly as possible. At this time, we do not have an estimated timeframe for reopening, but we will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
