Temperatures will rebound from Saturday, but will still be slightly below normal for areas east of the Divide for mid-June. Conditions will be dry, with clouds beginning to scatter out by midday. Winds will be light as well, with gusts up to 20 mph possible in the afternoon.

The outlook for the latter half of June is leaning toward Wyoming being between a ridge along the west coast and a trough along the Mississippi Valley. This currently brings a higher chance for above normal temperatures, especially to the west. This will also keep Wyoming in a more active pattern, with more likely chances for precipitation.

After a warm and sunny Friday, the arrival of a cold front Friday night will make for a cloudy and cool Saturday and Saturday night across areas east of the Continental Divide. Temperatures will be significantly cooler in this region, and a gusty northerly wind will make for a "chilly" summer day. Heading to the Bighorns? Prepare for some light snow or rain depending upon elevation. Western areas will be seasonal under a mostly sunny sky through Saturday.

The Bighorns will be most favored to see snow accumulation, including along the highway passes. The heaviest snow will be limited to the higher terrain of the Cloud Peak Wilderness.

After some lingering showers east of the Bighorns, expect a dry and seasonable day with much less wind as the past couple of days. Very isolated shower activity Friday and into the weekend with seasonable temperatures and breezy winds.
