Thank you Riverton Fire Department and specifically to Dallas Olsen, Robin Mcelhaney, Chance Mathes and Terry Heard for supporting our youth and giving them a ride down Main Street!! We are so thankful for them giving there time to do this!

Every year during the second week of April, the telecommunications personnel in the public safety community, are honored. This week-long event, initially set up in 1981 by Patricia Anderson of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office in California, is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public. It is a week that should be set aside so everyone can be made aware of their hard work and dedication. - NPSTW.org

We especially want to mention the dedicated dispatchers at The Riverton Police Department and take a moment to thank them for taking care of us day in and day out. Thank you for everything!

The Riverton Volunteer Fire Department held our annual elections tonight. Fire Chief Jesse Cassity, Assistant Fire Chief Eric Nowland, Treasurer Tyler Goff, and Secretary Terry Heard were all reelected into their offices. Brian Hutchins was elected as Trustee.

We would like to take a moment to thank outgoing Trustee Scott Walters for his last six years of service as Trustee, including two years as Senior Trustee. Thank You!
