Join us this morning at 9:30 a.m. for an important and dynamic conversation about water, knowledge and the future.

💧 What the Water Teaches Us

Drawing on work across the Wind River Indian Reservation, Central Wyoming College and the University of Wyoming, the conversation will explore how Indigenous and technical knowledge can be braided together to care for water and carry knowledge forward for future generations.

Hosted by Eric Bennett and Representative Ivan Posey with Kyle Whyte (Citizen Potawatomi Nation), George Willis Pack Professor.

2,700+ miles. 65 days. Canada to Mexico. 🚲🏔️

CWC student Jada Antelope has officially completed the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route!

What started at the Alberta, Canada on July 5 ended today at the U.S.-Mexico border in New Mexico after an incredible journey filled with challenge, discovery, research and a whole lot of miles.

Congratulations, Jada! 🧡 We’ve loved following this adventure and cheering you on every step, or pedal, of the way.

High school juniors and seniors,come experience a different kind of college day at Alpine Science Institute of CWC.

Join us Wednesday, September 23 for CWC Lander & Alpine Science Institute Discover Day and explore our 127-acre mountain campus near Sinks Canyon State Park.

Tour campus and student housing, meet faculty and current students, and get hands-on with programs in outdoor recreation, environmental science, GIST, regenerative agriculture, culinary and more.

Plus, lunch is on us.

Parents, families and counselors are welcome, too!

The search for Central Wyoming College’s next president is moving forward.

The Presidential Screening Committee is reviewing applications and expects to identify candidates for first-round interviews in the coming weeks.

Dates have also been set for finalist visits this October:
📅 Oct. 7–8
📅 Oct. 12–13
📅 Oct. 14–15
📅 Oct. 19–20

Finalists will meet with the Board of Trustees and have opportunities to connect with CWC employees, students and community partners.

Additional details, including times, locations and opportunities to participate, will be shared as the finalist interviews approach.
