πŸ’”πŸ˜ FIVE YEARS AGO TODAY, MY WORLD CHANGED FOREVER… πŸ˜πŸ’”

Five years ago today, my beautiful son, my precious baby boy, my hero Ommy Enrique Molina II, ADAR U.S. Navy, was left to die inside a barracks at the Naval base in Pensacola, Florida. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’”

And five years later, I still ask myself the same question…

β€œWhat if I had been there?” πŸ’”πŸ˜

I would give anything to have been beside my little boy when he needed his mama the most. I would have held him, protected him, fought for him, and told him over and over again how much I loved him. But I wasn’t there… and that is a pain I will carry for the rest of my life. πŸ’”

No mother should ever have to wonder if her child was alone, scared, hurting, or calling for her while she was miles away. No mother should ever have to live with questions that will never stop haunting her heart.

My Ommy, I am so sorry, my baby. πŸ˜πŸ’”
If I could have traded places with you, I would have without a second thought.

You were supposed to come home. I was supposed to hug you, hear your voice, watch you chase your dreams, and watch the beautiful life you deserved unfold before you.

Instead, I had to say goodbye to my son.

I never got to say goodbye. πŸ’”πŸ˜

Today, this song is dedicated to you, my beautiful boy in Heaven. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’™ Every note carries my love, my tears, my memories, and the ache in my heart that will never go away.

Five years have passed, but I have not moved on. I have only learned how to carry a pain that I never asked for.

You are not just a memory.
You are my son.
You are my baby.
You are my hero.
My Tikita
You are forever 22. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’™

I will love you until my very last breath, and I will continue to speak your name, honor your life, and carry you with me until the day God allows me to hold you again.

Mama loves you, Lil Ommy. Always. Forever. Beyond Heaven and back. πŸͺ½πŸ’™πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜

August 26th and 27th, 2021… πŸ’”πŸ˜ The last texts I have from my precious son, Lil Ommy. My baby was supposed to come home to me on September 1st, 2021, but instead, that day, my beautiful boy was disconnected from life support.

On August 29th, my son was left to die in a Naval barracks in Pensacola, Florida. Neither of us knew those messages would be our last words to each other here on Earth. πŸ’”

My precious Ommy, my beautiful son and my Hero, is now an angel in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’™

There are no words to describe the pain of losing your child. My heart was shattered that day, and a piece of it will forever belong to my baby boy. Until that beautiful day when we are reunited again, I will love you, miss you, and carry you with me every single day. πŸ˜πŸ’”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ’™

Forever 22. Forever my baby. Forever my Hero, forever my Lil Ommy MolinaπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’™πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

My Dog, My Inspiration 🐾❀️

Almost five years ago, I lost my beautiful son, Ommy, while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. He was only 22, and losing him left an unimaginable emptiness in my heart.

Then U*i, my Dalmatian puppy, came into my life. He cannot replace my son, but somehow, the unconditional love U*i gives me reminds me of the love Ommy used to give me. When I cry, U*i stays beside me. When grief becomes overwhelming, he comforts me. He makes me laugh on days when I feel I cannot smile and gives me a reason to get out of bed.

U*i has become a light in one of the darkest chapters of my life. He inspires me to keep going while carrying my son’s memory with me.

My dream is to have U*i professionally trained as my service dog so he can accompany me wherever I go and travel with me as I honor my Hero Lil Ommy and other fallen heroes.
U*i reminds me that even after losing the greatest love of my life, there can still be new love, hope, and purpose. β€οΈπŸΎπŸ’™

I hope that every night while I am sleeping, my precious son Ommy comes to take me away for a little while. I imagine him showing me how breathtaking and beautiful Heaven is, telling me about all the wonderful things he does there, and introducing me to all the other precious fallen heroes who are with him. πŸ’™

I like to believe we laugh together, talk together, and for a little moment, I get to be his mom again. Then, when it’s time for me to come back, God gently erases those memories so I can continue living until the day we are reunited forever. That’s why I wake up not remembering any of it… only with this deep feeling in my heart that my beautiful boy is at peace and waiting for me.

Until that glorious reunion, I will hold on to faith, love, and the hope that one day I will never have to say goodbye again. πŸ’”πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ’™ My precious child and beautiful angel in heaven my Lil Ommy Molina πŸ’™

Last Sunday, after the Inland Empire Umbrella Moms left, we heard a knock at the door. A veteran was standing there holding a box. Inside was a beautiful plaque from the Til Valhalla Project honoring my precious baby and hero, ADAR Ommy Enrique Molina II, U.S. Navy.

It was such a bittersweet moment. πŸ’”πŸ’™ My heart aches every day, but I am so grateful to know my son is not forgotten.

We will never stop honoring my son. We will never stop saying his name. Ommy Enrique Molina II will always be remembered, and his legacy will live on forever.

Today, July 17, marks five years since I held my precious son, Lil Ommy, in my arms after celebrating his A-School graduation as an Aircraft Engineer in Pensacola, Florida. πŸ’™πŸ˜ Those three beautiful days together remain so vivid in my heart. If only I could go back to that moment one more time.

We said our goodbyes without ever imagining it would be our last here on earth. Just a few weeks later, my precious baby’s life was taken in a barracks on the Naval base. My heart shattered forever.

The pain has never left me. Since the day I watched my son be taken off life support on September 1, 2021, I have carried a grief that words cannot fully describe. I miss you every second of every day, my beautiful son. I will love you, honor you, and fight for justice for you until my last breath.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever my hero, my Lil Ommy MolinaπŸ’™πŸ˜πŸ’”

Lord if I could go back to this day 5 years ago πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ˜ this was my son Ommy’s most important day of his life and mineπŸ’” It was his graduation day from A-school at the Pensacola Florida Naval Base.. He was the most happy and grateful young man. Today and the next two days was the last time I held my baby and the last time I saw him 5 years ago πŸ’” I miss my Lil Ommy with my whole soul πŸ˜πŸ’” I was robbed, those people took the most precious boy God gave me and that I had. My baby boy my hero my forever love of my life my Lil Ommy πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ’”πŸ’”

July 15, 2021, was the most important and proudest day of my precious son Ommy’s life. He graduated from the U.S. Navy A-School in Pensacola, Florida, as an Aircraft Engineer. He had worked so hard to achieve his dream, and his future was filled with hope, purpose, and endless possibilities.

Just a little over a month later, my beautiful son was gone. His dreams were stolen, and my entire world was shattered. Every day since then, I have searched for answers that I still have not received. I will never stop fighting because my son’s life mattered. Ommy deserved to live, to fulfill his dreams, and to come home to his family.

Justice for my precious son, Lil Ommy. I will never stop being your voice. πŸ’™βš“πŸ˜πŸ’”
