This morning, I was honored to join community leaders, partners, and local families for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the new Lakeland Village Childcare Center.

This project represents an important investment in our community's future. By expanding access to quality early childhood education and childcare opportunities, we are helping support working families while giving our youngest residents a strong foundation for lifelong success.

The new center is part of the ongoing transformation in Lakeland Village and reflects what can be accomplished when local, county, and community partners work together toward a shared vision. I am especially grateful to First 5 Riverside County and the County of Riverside Facilities Management Department for their dedication in bringing this project to life.

I look forward to seeing the positive impact this facility will have on Lakeland Village families for generations to come.

Every community has individuals who quietly dedicate their time, talents, and hearts to making a difference. The Second District Senior Legacy Awards were created to recognize those remarkable seniors whose service and leadership have strengthened our communities for generations.

Our team was proud to participate in the Free Lakeland Village Resource Fair this weekend at the Lakeland Village Library & Community Center.
