Effective today September 1, 2026, California law requires new fingerprints for all concealed carry weapon (CCW) renewals. Pursuant to California Penal Code Section 26185, any CCW Renewal applications submitted to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) on or after September 1st, 2026, must include fingerprints captured through Live Scan.

We currently still have availability for the initial CCW class hosted at the Ben Clark Training Center. The class is on June 16-17th from 5-9pm and June 20th from 8-5pm. Please call the CCW unit at 951-486-2856 if you would like to register for the course.
