🌟 Strengthening Administrator Preparation Through Collaboration

On September 1, 2026, the Riverside County Office of Education’s Center for Administrator Preparation was proud to co-host the third Southern California PASC Leaders Community of Practice meeting at LACOE’s Education Center West.

PASC program leaders from across Southern California came together to share best practices, engage in collective problem-solving, and strengthen partnerships across credential programs. Discussions focused on:

• Supporting candidate success through an MTSS lens
• Addressing the needs of non-completers
• Supporting candidates with limited classroom experience
• Exploring the implications of Assembly Bill 1454 and literacy leadership
• Strengthening CalAPA implementation and administrator preparation programs

We value this opportunity to learn from one another, exchange promising practices, and work collaboratively to prepare strong, equity-driven school leaders throughout California.

🎉 Celebrating the launch of PASC Cohort 19!

On Saturday, August 1, we welcomed four cohorts of aspiring educational leaders, including 30 Administrative Intern Candidates, the inaugural group in our new Intern Program!

During orientation, candidates received an introduction to program expectations, the Candidate Manual, policies and processes, course structure, CalAPA, and more.

We are excited to support this talented group as they begin their leadership journey! 🚀
