Water service will be temporarily shut off for a line repair on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from approximately 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Riverview Estates area near 1150 W.

If you will need water during that time, please fill buckets, containers, or bathtubs ahead of time.

We’re excited to officially open the new playground at Golden Spike Park!

Join us on Monday, June 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate and check out the new playground equipment.

To honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country, a wreath has been placed at the Veterans Memorial by Mayor Braden Mitchell. The wreath will remain in place throughout Memorial Day weekend.

The Veterans Memorial is located in front of the Riverdale Civic Center at 4600 South Weber River Drive.

RIVERDALE CITY COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE

FUTURE OF FIRE & EMS SERVICES

Riverdale City invites residents and interested community members to attend an informational open house regarding the City's evaluation of potential annexation into the Weber Fire District for fire protection, emergency medical services (EMS), rescue services, and related emergency response services.

The purpose of the open house is to provide information concerning:
· current fire service operations,
· increasing service demands,
· financial and operational considerations,
· potential impacts of a regional fire service model,
· employee transition concepts,
· and the public process moving forward.

Residents will have the opportunity to:
· review informational displays,
· ask questions,
· speak with City and District staff and representatives,
· and provide feedback.

No formal action will be taken during the open house.

Date: June 4, 2026
Time: 5-7 P.M.
Location: Riverdale Fire Station

Riverdale City encourages all interested residents to attend and participate in the discussion concerning the future of emergency services within the community.

Splash Pad Opening Delayed

During the process of turning on the splash pad for the season, Public Works crews discovered damage to the system that occurred during the winter months. Repairs are now needed before the splash pad can safely open to the public.

At this time, an exact opening date is unknown. Crews are working to get everything repaired and operational as quickly as possible, and updates will be provided once more information becomes available.
