You may have heard the news: former Senator David Perdue is running against Brian Kemp in the Republican primary. While David Perdue and Brian Kemp are fighting each other, I will be fighting for the people of Georgia.

I am the only candidate running who will expand Medicaid for 500,000 Georgians, and I am the only candidate who will make sure our schools have the funding they need. My fight is for One Georgia where opportunity and success does not depend on zip code, background or access to power. During this pandemic, I eliminated medical debt for 68,000 Georgians, expanded access to vaccines across our state, provided assistance to struggling businesses trying to stay afloat, brought needed supplies to food banks and more. I will never put my stock portfolio or my well-connected friends ahead of the health of our people. Georgians’ interests are paramount to me and to my campaign.

David Perdue and Brian Kemp are doing their level best to divide our state. Their primary strategy is simple but dangerous: to lie about my record and to be the most extreme and out-of-touch candidate while ignoring the vast majority of Georgians. But Iris, make no mistake: Despite the internecine battles on the other side, the general election will be hard fought, and whoever emerges from the Republican primary will be well funded. We can’t take anything for granted. So I need your help to make sure we have the resources to keep pace.

Good Morning. I want to congratulate Riverdale Mayor Evelyn Dixon on winning her Ward 3 City Council Race. She really worked the neighborhoods asking people to put signs in their yards and even passed out a flyer with information about me and another candidate that wasn’t true! She also made appearances at area churches informing the congregation that Riverdale has an $18 million dollar surplus! Hint- that is also not true.

I lost the City Council Ward 3 contest. I can’t say it was a fair race because we didn’t get an opportunity to see if the incumbent could win on her own after 23 years in office. She had to be propped up by Mayor Dixon.

I am flattered because it took TWO of them to get the most votes. Despite their trickery, people still voted for me and the other candidate. Thank you!

We should strive to be our BEST and step away from darkness into the LIGHT. I will continue to let MY light shine so that you can see my good works!
