Today, the City of Riverbank proudly recognizes Juneteenth Freedom Day, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and honoring the resilience, contributions, and achievements of African Americans throughout our nation's history.

Thank you to Oliver Tomas Grandvoinet for accepting this proclamation on behalf of our community. As we observe Juneteenth on June 19, we encourage residents to reflect on our shared history, celebrate freedom, and continue fostering understanding, inclusion, and unity for all.

The City of Riverbank's Candidate Nomination Period for the November 2026 General Municipal Election opens July 13 and closes August 7, 2026. Eligible residents interested in running for Council Member District 1 or Council Member District 3 are encouraged to contact the City Clerk's Office for information on candidacy requirements and the nomination process.

Bring the family out on Wednesday, June 10 from 5:30–8:00 PM at Plaza del Rio for an evening focused on bike safety, community resources, fun activities, and more.

Enjoy:
• Free bike registration for those riding to the event
• Bike rodeo activities for kids ages 12 & under
• Health & safety information
• Food & crafts
• Bike raffle giveaways
• And so much more!

Bike donations are also needed, and vendors are encouraged to register today.
