As we prepare to bring another wonderful school year to a close, we would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our students.

We extend our best wishes to our fifth-grade students as they move on to Holdrum Middle School, and we congratulate our kindergarten students on their promotion to first grade.

This year, our fifth-grade TAG students participated in an online Quiz Bowl competition. Competing against 60 teams from 13 states, Roberge School earned an impressive second-place finish overall.

In addition, students and staff enjoyed many memorable events throughout the year, including a third-grade spelling bee, a staff wiffle ball game, and other activities that helped make this school year both successful and enjoyable.

We are proud of all our students and thank our staff, families, and school community for their continued support throughout the year.

Peyton cashed in her clicks two weeks ago for Lunch with Ms. Vassallo! Today she chose to invite Sophia, and we had such a fun lunch together. The girls were also surprised with a special visit from Ms. Martino and Mrs. Lampert, who joined us for lunch and made our time together even more special! We loved spending time and chatting with them.

Every spring, our school is visited by a very special guest—our annual resident duck. Like clockwork, she returns to the courtyard to build her nest and carefully lay her eggs, settling in as she patiently waits for them to hatch. Students and staff alike look forward to her arrival, watching from a respectful distance as she tends to her future family.

When the long-awaited day finally comes and the ducklings begin to hatch, the excitement spreads throughout the school. In a small but meaningful tradition, we open the courtyard doors to give the new family a safe path forward. One by one, the tiny ducklings waddle behind their mother as she leads them out of the courtyard and into the nearby woods—marking the start of their journey and a heartwarming moment our school community cherishes each year.

Friday's Field Day was a tremendous success! Students enjoyed a wide variety of fun and engaging games, all while taking in the beautiful weather. It was wonderful to see such high levels of enthusiasm, teamwork, and participation throughout the day.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our parent volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to help make the event run smoothly. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all staff members for their support and dedication. A special thank you to our Physical Education teacher, Mr. Kennis, for coordinating this exciting annual event and creating such a memorable experience for our students.
