Longtime River Falls resident Patrick (Pat) McKernon left a major last gift. When he died in 2023, his bequest to St. Croix Valley Foundation established the McKernon Scholarship Fund, which will support scholarships to graduating seniors at Elmwood High School (Pat's alma mater) and adults in Pierce County returning to school. What an incredible story of generosity!

Bethany's Butterflies Scholarship applications are now open! 🦋 This scholarship supports enhanced learning, outdoor, or recreational experiences. Scholarships are available to people 21 years and younger with IEPs, who also attend school in Polk, St. Croix, or Pierce Counties (Wisconsin). Have you heard? School District of River Falls and Ellsworth WI Community School District both received Music Education Grants from St. Croix Valley Foundation! Join us in congratulating each district as they use those grants to purchase equipment and provide masterclasses to student musicians!

Congratulations to the newest round of Music Education Grant recipients! We've just awarded more than $33,000 to a dozen school districts in the St. Croix River Valley to improve the quality of their music education programs.
