Not everything goes our way. In the end I am proud of myself for trying and I am GRATEFUL for the support I received from my family, my friends, my community. Just because I didn't "win" doesn't mean I can't make an impact. Our school district is in good hands, and will continue to mold young minds and souls into incredible people.

Today is the day! If you haven't already voted, I would be truly honored if you thought I was the right person to represent the School District of River Falls as a school board member. My overall reason for running for school board is to bring a different perspective as a BIPOC RFHS Alumni, parent of 2, only child of an AMAZING single mom and mental health professional, who has always advocated for what is best for kids and how the adults around them can help them be successful.

Listening to what others have to say in a way that I will learn from them, and not try to always be right, is something I strive for.

Taking responsibility for when things don't go as planned, is a trait I work towards daily.

Being open-minded, kind and yet firm is how I lead.

Here is the recording of last nights AAUW Virtual Forum. It was a great night getting to know the other 3 candidates a bit better in a live setting. We share many similar views on the questions asked of us. I am confident that no matter the outcome of this years school board election, our students, staff, parents/guardians and community will have board members that have their best interest at heart.

A reminder early voting started today and election day is April 5th.
