The FAA is attempting to educate drone enthusiasts prior to the start of the FIFA World Cup games. Unauthorized flights will be subject to fines in area TFR’s. We don’t know at this time if River Edge will be under the controlled air space but with all the events in the area the next two months, we advise that you check before you fly.

Due to emergency water repairs, Kinderkamack Road is reduced to one lane of traffic between Jefferson Avenue and Monroe Avenue from now until approximately 3:00 PM.

Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes or expect delays while repairs are being completed.

Kinderkamack Road is closed Northbound from Bloomfield Ave to the Oradell border. Midland Ave Eastbound is closed at Summit Ave. This is due to a Police investigation. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good morning just a friendly reminder from the Office of Emergency Management

PS Gas will begin installing gas main tomorrow 05/27/26 on Bogert Rd starting at Manning Ave. and working towards Monroe Ave. Work will begin at 8 am. Expect road closures and detours. Plan alternate routes. Expect Bogert Rd to be affected for the rest of the week.

Please obey all No Parking signs. You could be subject to ticketing and towing. The REPD will be out there assisting with road closures and detours. Officers will also assist residents navigating to and from their respective residences that may be within the construction zone. If you have any questions regarding the utility work, please direct them to the officers working out there. DO NOT CALL THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Please DO NOT attempt to go around road closures signs as these signs are out to insure the safety of the PS GAS workers and our officers. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Bergen County from 11:00 AM today through 8:00 PM Wednesday.

🌡️ Daytime temperatures: Mid to upper 90’s�🌡️ Maximum heat indices: Mid to upper 90’s�⏰ Peak heat expected between Noon and 6:00 PM each day

Residents are urged to stay hydrated, limit strenuous outdoor activity, check on vulnerable family members and neighbors, and never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles.
