The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Bergen County beginning at 2pm to through 2am Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will move through Bergen County this afternoon into the evening. A period of heavy rain resulting in flash flooding is possible. Bergen County OEM will continue to monitor this storm system and issue further messages as needed! Bergen County, NJ

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of the region are in effect until 9pm. The main threat with any storms will be damaging winds.

The western half of the area is in a slight risk (level 2/5) for severe weather this afternoon and evening. While the coverage of storms is expected to be less widespread than yesterday, isolated to scattered damaging wind gusts are possible. Stay weather aware today!
