We were honored to support the Rittman K-9 Golf Fundraiser this past weekend. Thank you to the officers, volunteers, sponsors, and community members who made the event a success. We're grateful for the opportunity to help support a program that serves our community every day. 🐾🚔

🐾⛳ Honored to Support Those Who Protect Our Community

This past weekend, Greenwood Contractors, Inc was proud to sponsor the Shielded Paws K9 Golf Outing, benefiting an organization dedicated to supporting the K9 teams who put themselves in harm's way to keep our communities safe.

Shielded Paws K9 is a 501(c)(3) organization designed to help support K9s and their handlers by providing tools and equipment to better protect and serve the communities they call home.

For us, this sponsorship was especially meaningful because it directly supports our own Rittman Police Department K9 teams:
🐾 Officer Hunter and K9 Narc
🐾 Officer Colter and K9 Limbo

These officers and their canine partners dedicate countless hours to training, building trust, and preparing to serve our community whenever they're needed. The bond between a handler and their K9 is extraordinary, and the work they do often goes unseen. From protecting residents to assisting fellow agencies, they represent the very best of public service.

We're grateful to Shielded Paws K9 for investing in these incredible teams and providing the resources they need to continue protecting and serving. It was an honor to support an event that not only benefits K9 units across the region but also recognizes and uplifts two teams that proudly serve right here in Rittman.
