Friday, Sept. 4th, 2026 - Bulletin

Good Morning,

School will be out Monday, September 7th for Labor Day Holiday.

We need your help! Please help spread the word and encourage as many donors as possible to schedule an appointment at the Rison High School Blood Drive Sept. 10th. The blood mobile will be set up by the High School Cafeteria. As a fun and exciting way to encourage more people to donate, each successful donor will receive a limited-edition FANG-TASTIC t-shirt & free entry to the Little Rock Zoo. Not only will your donation help save up to three lives, you will also be making a huge impact on the community blood supply during a critical time. We will have a sigh up sheet on the information desk by the high school office for our students. Students who are 16 must have a parent signature.

Attention Junior Beta members: Club dues are due for new and existing members by Monday, September 21st. All members need to schedule a Football Field Cleanup to be eligible to attend convention. The link to the schedule is in your Google Classroom.

Attention students needing community service hours. Football Field Cleanup is available each week for community service hours for students in grades 9-12. The time will be announced each week in the bulletin. The next cleanup will be on Monday, August 31st at 3:15. Another cleanup is available on Tuesday, September 8th. Please be sure to have a ride available at 4 pm. Email or see Mrs. Taylor or Mrs. Lybrand for more details.

It is time to buy your yearbook! Yearbook price is $48.00, but the price will increase Sept. 11th. So, get your orders in early. You can find the forms on the information desk in front of the high school office. Turn all forms and money into Mrs. Garner.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Yearbook recognition ads are now on sale. Deadline to submit form, photos, and message is Tuesday, October 6th. Forms are located on the information table outside the office and can be turned in to Mrs. Garner.

It is time to join FBLA. Dues are $23. Please see Mrs. Kim Kaye or Mrs. Morrison. The last day to join is September 11.

The Sr Wildcats will play here tonight against Camden Harmony Grove game will start at 7:00 pm. 5th quarter this week will be hosted at the Rison Methodist Church.

The Sr Wildcats will play here Friday night against Camden Harmony Grove game will start at 7:00 pm. 5th quarter this week will be hosted at the Rison Methodist Church. This week’s theme is Luau With The Wildcats. The cheerleaders will be selling Leis for $1 each on Friday morning.

Rison High School’s employee of the month is Mrs. Kim King! This is Mrs. Kim’s 28th year in education and has been at Rison for 14 years. Mrs. Kim is a Business teacher, FBLA Sponsor, and Senior High Cheer Coach! She is also the LOUD Birthday singer!!! We are blessed to have someone who does so much for our kiddos!
