Come to Switzerland County Elementary's Instrument Try-on! Students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade are welcome to try instruments that they are interested in playing for the school's band. Parents are welcome to attend the event starting at 2:45pm. If a parent is able to attend, they can sign their student up for an instrument and have it delivered right to the school! Students are still able to participate in the try-on without a parent present. A flyer will be sent home with the student's try-on results. We hope to see you there!

Our SCES PTA Fall Vendor Market is bringing together amazing local vendors, delicious food, handmade goodies, boutiques & more! 🧡

October 17th | 9 AM–3 PM

Grab your friends, bring the family, and come shop & enjoy a fun fall day! 🍁🛍️

Leading up to our event, we will be promoting a couple of our vendors each week!

The August Surprise Attendance Day was a 💦💦Splashing💦 Success!!

Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in student success, and we want every child in school 🏫, on time ⏰, and ready to learn 📝 each day!

Today we all celebrated with a sweet treat. Also, 2️⃣ 🧡Pacers💙 from every class were randomly selected to 💦SPLASH💦 Mrs. Dixon!

📅 Dates: September 26th, October 3rd, & October 10th
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Location: Switzerland County High School
👧 Who: Girls in 3rd – 8th Grade
💰 Cost: $40.00 (Includes a camp T-shirt & snacks!)
💲 Money is due the first day of camp.
🎒 What to Bring:
• Basketball shoes
• Water bottle

🤖 A HUGE THANK YOU! 🤖

Today, our students at both Jefferson Craig Elementary and Switzerland County Elementary received a very special visit from Optimus Prime and Bumblebee! 🚗✨

Along with the excitement, Mr. Joe led an impactful discussion on the importance of anti-bullying and standing up for one another.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Harsin Development for making this unforgettable visit possible, and to the Swiss W**e Festival for sharing their time with our schools today. Your support means the world to our students and staff! 🧡💙

Miss Shelby was invited to take the wheel of Bumblebee 🐝 for her engagement in today’s Optimus 🤖 Prime Bully Prevention program.

When asked about the program she said, “Optimus reminds me to stay kind and not bully others. You never know what someone is going through.”

All Switzerland County School Corporation campuses will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday.

This scheduled delay allows our teachers and staff dedicated time for professional development.

Students: Please adjust your morning routines and bus pickup times accordingly by 2 hours.

Staff: Report per your building's professional development schedule.
