Tippah County Good Samaritan Center

Tippah County Good Samaritan Center Provide supplemental food for the citizens of Tippah County that meet certain economic criteria It is closed on any fifth Monday.

The Tippah County Good Samaritan Center operates two distribution centers in Tippah County. The Central Branch is located at 113 Bails Road (across from Ripley Elementary School) in Ripley. This location serves clients residing in the South Tippah School District. This Center is open the first four Mondays from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. The North Branch is in Walnut at 560 Main

Street (next door to the hardware store). This location is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., and on Thursdays from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. This location serves clients residing in North Tippah School District.

Chicken & Rice Bowl
(Using pantry basics!)

Ingredients:
• 1 can chicken
• 1 cup cooked rice
• 1 can mixed vegetables
• Salt & pepper (to taste)

Directions:

1. Heat chicken and vegetables in a pan
2. Add cooked rice
3. Mix together and season
4. Serve warm

📬🥫 The Stamp Out Hunger food has officially been weighed in!!! 🥫📬

We are beyond honored and grateful for the incredible support from our community right here in Tippah County ❤️

Because of the generosity of our neighbors, churches, volunteers, and USPS workers, a total of 1,663.5 pounds of food was donated through the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!

👏 Every can, every box, and every bag donated will help families in our community who are facing food insecurity.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts, volunteered, and helped make this drive such a success. Together, we are making a real difference. 💙
