Important Notice – 2024 Delinquent Taxes

The Chancery Court Office has begun the process of collecting 2024 delinquent property taxes.

As a courtesy, our office has mailed out initial reminder letters to affected taxpayers. This is an opportunity to resolve your delinquent taxes before additional steps are taken, which may include:
• Certified mail notifications
• Service through the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
• Publication in the local newspaper

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this courtesy notice to avoid added costs and legal action.

If you have received a letter—or believe you may have delinquent taxes—please contact our office as soon as possible. Our staff is here to assist you and discuss available options.

The 2024 County and City taxes have been officially reported as delinquent in Chancery Court. Notices has been mailed to all taxpayers with outstanding balances.

Delinquent Tax Sale Reminder:

There is only one week remaining before the upcoming Tax Sale.

If you have 2023 delinquent property taxes, please make arrangements to pay them immediately to prevent your property from being included in the sale.

Once the tax sale takes place, additional costs and legal steps may apply. Paying your delinquent taxes before the sale date will remove your property from the tax sale list.

If you have questions about your balance or payment options, please contact our office @ 731-636-1941 as soon as possible.

Delinquent Real Estate Tax will be turned over to the Lauderdale County Chancery Court Clerk's Office for collection on April 1, 2026. Please take the necessary action to pay these as soon as possible to prevent further accrual of interest.

Please be advised that the list of all 2023 delinquent taxpayers has now been published in the Lauderdale County Enterprise newspaper and on tnpublicnotice.com.

If you believe your taxes remain unpaid, we strongly encourage you to contact the Chancery Court office immediately to avoid additional fees, penalties, or further legal action.

Don’t delay—take care of your account today.

Exchange Club met on February 5, 2026 at The Olympic Steak House. We had two members join Exchange Club and the program was discussion on the 2026 Celebrity Waiters Luncheon coming up on February 13, 2026.
