🚜🌾 HARVEST TIME IS HERE! 🌾🚜

Harvest season means more tractors and farm equipment traveling on our roads—and that often means slower-moving traffic.

At LCAA, we want everyone to make it home safely. If you encounter a tractor or other farm equipment:

🚜 SLOW DOWN — Tractors may be traveling much slower than normal traffic.
↔️ GIVE THEM PLENTY OF SPACE — Don't follow too closely.
⚠️ PASS WITH CARE — Only pass when it is safe and legal to do so.
👀 STAY ALERT — Watch for tractors turning into fields, driveways, or crossing the roadway.
📵 PUT THE PHONE DOWN — Stay focused on the road.

Farmers are working hard to get the harvest in. A little patience and extra caution can prevent a serious crash.

From all of us at Lauderdale County Ambulance Authority, please slow down, pay attention, and share the road.

🌾 Let’s all get home safe.

Lauderdale County Emergency 911 enjoyed having Youth Leadership Lauderdale by for a visit today. We were able to give them a glimpse of how operations at our center run on a daily basis and got to demonstrate some of the new technology the center has to help serve the community of Lauderdale County. Students were also able to see that even amidst a major phone upgrade, the center was still able to function as normal and provide assistance to the community. We are thankful to be able to share our love for our community and our jobs with the future leaders of Lauderdale County.
