Early this morning one of our original members of the South Ripley fire department passed away. Ronald Jay Spacht, was 83 years old. Jay was one of the last original members alive. Ripley Fire District Station 2 was created in 1969-1970. Jay stayed active within the department until a few years ago due to health. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

an energetic boy or girl who wants learn what being a junior firefighter is all about. Stop in on a Tuesday night 7:00 pm for application. Tour the fire house and ask questions or meet the men and women volunteer firefighters/EMS of your community.

To all Explorers there will be a mandatory meeting at the fire department on Tuesday November 8, at 7:00 all Explorers are asked to attend, we will be setting up new training programs. We have many new idea's bring a friend to check out the program.

To all Explorers...We will be setting up the fire hall Monday morning at 10AM for the Veterans lunch, all that are available to help you help would be greatly appreciated. We will also be in the Memorial Day parade. Please wear your Polo dress shirt for both.
