Earth Day was Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and Arbor Day is Friday, April 25, 2025. We would like everyone to take a minute and understand the significance of safeguarding the earth and its natural resources. To motivate action in response to issues such as climate change, pollution, and deforestation. Given that information the USDA offers programs to farmers to help with soil and water conservation efforts. If any additional information is needed, please call 731-635-7686 ext. 3 or stop by our office at 301 Lake Drive, Ripley, TN 38063.

Below is a list of the SWCD sponsors from 2023. We would like to personally thank each and every one of them because without sponsors we would not be able to do as much as we do in and for the community. We are able to do multiple outreach activities throughout the year because of our wonderful sponsors. These activities include but are not limited to: Tree Day, Ag Literacy Week, Lauderdale County Fair, Trunk-R-Treat, Annual Poster Contest, 2 Lauderdale County Scholarships (1 Halls, 1 Ripley), and this year we will be participating in the Annual Yard & Garden Expo.
