To anyone going Hwy 12 west to Suisun/Fairfield, Hwy 12 is closed going west bound. Detour is Hwy 113. The highway will be shut down for several hours. Just for an update, commute traffic coming toward Rio Vista will has to take a small detour on Denverton Road. Should be no time lost in travel.

Tickets are now on sale for Courtland Firefighters Annual Pasta Feed! The event will be held at The Willow Ballroom & Event Center on February 7th 2026.

This evening Montezuma Fire had our annual family Christmas Dinner. We did have a star appearance from Santa Claus. As usual Santa stole the show.

This morning Montezuma Fire personnel helped the Saint Vincent de Paul organization with unloading and packing of food items for their Christmas dinner giveaway. Thank you Lira's Supermarket for the food and help this morning too.
