Update 9/9/26 4pm leak has been repaired. No boil notice required. 9/9/2026 1:14 pm Water is off from Civic Center to CR 1105. Only effects customers in that area. Electric Contractor hit out waterline causing a break. We are currently working on repair. This was out of the City's control. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE: 4:31PM LEAK FIXED. NO WATER BOIL NOTICE REQUIRED.
UPDATE: 2:4 pm. Locates have been done. Leak is being repaired. Hopeing water will be in as soon as possible. FYI 4;00am city water contractors have been aware of the leak. They have been waiting on line locates and trying to find where to isolate the problem. We Will keep citizrns updated as City is updated.

Update: 6:44pm. 8/21/26 BOIL NOTICE HAS BEEN LIFTED..

Update: 5:25pm boil water till further notice ...
Update: 8/19/26 leak fixed. They are pressuring it back up now.Update: 8/19/26 11:54 no water at this time. 10:29am 8/19/26 EXPECT LOW PRESSURE MOST OF DAY. HOT WEATHER SHIFTING GROUND CAUSED A LEAK. CREWS ARE WORKING ON ISSUE!!!

FYI: 8/3/26 @12:22pm WATER PRESSURE WILL BE EXTREMELY LOW OR NO WATER NO ESTIMATEED TIME OF RETURN TO NORMAL

The City of Rio Vista and surrounding communities had the opportunity to meet Texas State Represenative, Helen Kerwin today.
