EMS Coverage Update for Our Community

You may have heard that LNHARS has been designated to provide primary EMS coverage in East Amwell Township.

Here is what that means in plain English:

• This is not new. We have already been responding to many East Amwell calls for a long time
• Our coverage in Lambertville, New Hope, and surrounding areas is not changing
• We are staffed 24/7 and continue to respond across our entire service area
• If multiple emergencies happen at once, we work with mutual aid partners, just like every EMS system does

About billing:
We do bill for services. This helps support staffing, equipment, and keeping ambulances on the road.

Not every 911 call results in a bill, and every situation is different. In many cases, insurance, including Medicare and supplemental plans, may cover a portion or all of the cost.

If you ever have questions or concerns about billing, you can contact us directly. We will always take the time to talk it through with you.

Our priority is simple:
When you call 911, an ambulance responds.

We are proud to continue serving all of our communities with reliable, professional emergency care.

This Saturday at 11 AM — you are invited to join on Patriot ground and feel the Revolution beneath your feet.

During 1766-1776 LIBERTY POLES once rose as powerful symbols of courage — proof that ordinary people were ready to stand for freedom, independence, and the future of a nation. Within that 200 square mile revolutionary region 60+ men joined forces to form the Sons of Liberty.

On September 19th, for America’s 250th, we raise one again.

Take this once-in-a-lifetime powerful hour to experience how the Revolution moved through our neighborhoods across Hunterdon, Mercer, Somerset, Sussex, Morris, and Bucks County and surrounding areas, all connected by the historic Old York Road. This is where the courage of everyday people helped change the course of history.

You’ll witness:

• Colonial soldiers raising the Liberty Pole

• Live colonial music

• Scouts supporting the ceremony

• Colonial time municipalities speaking the praises of Liberty

• Cake for all in camaraderie and celebration

• A tribute to the NJ & PA militia and the Continental Army who stood their ground for liberty

🪑Feel free to bring a folding chair for comfort — and cake will be served to you as part of our shared Revolutionary camaraderie.

Come for the spirit and pride.

Good morning, East Amwell.

Here’s a summary of the September 10th Township Committee meeting.

The big news is that the Committee passed an ordinance banning large data centers, large-scale warehousing, and detention centers in East Amwell.

The passage of this ordinance is consistent with our commitment to keeping East Amwell rural, as we promised our residents we would do. We want to protect the character of our community while planning responsibly for the future.

The Committee also began discussions on potential infrastructure and capital improvements for 2027. This was just the beginning of that conversation, which will continue throughout the fall.

Updates were also provided on our current capital projects. I’m happy to report that most are well underway and currently coming in under budget.

The takeaway for our residents is simple: we are working to protect what makes East Amwell special, invest responsibly in our community, and be good stewards of your tax dollars.

We’ll continue to keep residents informed as these projects and discussions move forward.

Good morning, East Amwell.

On this 25th anniversary of September 11th, we take a moment to remember our friends, family members, neighbors, and first responders who were lost 25 years ago today.

We remember the lives that were taken, the families who were forever changed, and the incredible courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

May we never forget the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost that day, and may we always remember the unity, compassion, and strength our country showed in the days that followed.

Please take a moment today to remember, reflect, and honor those we lost.

The Hunterdon County Bicycle Plan Community Meeting which was scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026, at the East Amwell Municipal Building has been moved. The meeting will now be held at the Amwell Valley Firehouse, 22 County Road 579, Ringoes, NJ.

Happy to report another update on the improvements to Clawson Park that helps make it a better place for our residents to enjoy. The sunshade is up!

Even better, this project was made possible through grant funding, helping keep the cost off local taxpayers.
