Please Share:🚨URGENT: Protect Our Historic Monuments – Remove the Dying Oak Before It's Too Late!
Imagine a once-majestic oak tree, now weakened and crumbling, its heavy limbs crashing down and risking irreparable damage to the irreplaceable gravestones and monuments at the historic Dailey Hill Cemetery. This isn't just about a tree—it's about safeguarding the final resting places of our community's ancestors, preserving the etched stories of generations past from potential destruction.
As the Boynton Lions Club of Ringgold, we're dedicated to Catoosa County—delivering essential eye exams and glasses to those in need, fueling youth programs at Boynton Elementary and elsewhere, and maintaining sacred sites like Dailey Hill. But safely removing this hazardous oak and making follow-up improvements will cost an extra $4,000—on top of the $4,000 we already raise annually just for mowing.
Tragically, that's the equivalent of turning away 40 vulnerable residents who rely on us for sight-saving support. Envision a child struggling to see the classroom board, falling behind in school... or a senior unable to make out the words in a beloved book. Without your help, that's the tough choice we're forced to make.
We've teamed up with the Share America Foundation, Inc., (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) to establish the Tree Fund, ensuring your donations are tax-deductible. Join us in protecting our heritage while restoring vision and hope!
