I’m running to represent students, teachers, parents, families, homeschoolers, and everyone in between. But I am not the one sitting in those classrooms every day.

Y’all are. So I am going to ask instead of tell.

For some people, it took combing through fifty nine pages of reports and the better part of a week to scrape together an attempt to justify an audit and try to find something wrong with our schools.

But I would bet it takes you about two seconds to name something right.

If you teach in a Catoosa County school, or your kid goes to one, or you drive a bus to one, you could probably do it without stopping to think. Not something you had to go find. Something that was just sitting there.

A teacher who stayed late. A kid who finally got it. A team that showed up. A driver who knows every name on the bus. A cafeteria worker who knows which kid needs a little extra today.

Nobody has to dig for those.

So let's put them somewhere. Let's celebrate the wins! 🥳

We join millions around the world in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton. Dolly was an extraordinary artist, philanthropist, and force for good whose unique connection to our community has always been a special source of pride.

Through her music, her philanthropy, and relentless positivity, Dolly made life a little brighter for generations of people. Her legacy is a reminder that enormous success and genuine goodness can go hand in hand.

We are grateful that Catoosa County will forever be a small part of Dolly’s remarkable story and that she will forever be part of our community.

Rest well, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the memories, and all the good you put into the world. 💔
