Congratulations to Kelly Bomar, officially sworn in today as Mayor of the City of Ringgold. 🎊

We're grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate this milestone and look forward to what's ahead for our community.

Kelly comes from a family with deep roots in Ringgold's civic life. His grandfather, Carl Cofer, served on the City Council, and Kelly has spent years building on that foundation. Today, he steps into the next chapter of that story.

Love this!! Go follow and support our little theater! 🫶The Ringgold Playhouse

It sure is a beautiful morning outside the playhouse.

We have one of those classic, historic downtowns that people write stories about. Coffee shop, ice cream parlor, restaurants, antique stores, super-welcoming shops, and a local theater where you can come see a show or movie regularly.

There’s ❤️🙏🎭

This past Saturday, Citizens Park in downtown Ringgold was the setting for a Liberty Tree dedication ceremony, a tradition rooted in American history dating back to the Revolutionary era.

Liberty Trees were designated gathering places for patriots during the colonial period, serving as symbols of freedom and civic life. Communities across the country continue to honor that tradition today by dedicating trees in public spaces as living landmarks of American heritage.
The ceremony included a color guard in period dress, speakers, and a small gathering of residents who came out to mark the occasion.

The newly dedicated Liberty Tree can be found in Citizens Park in the heart of downtown. 🇺🇸
