Rineyville Fire Department This is the official page for The Rineyville Volunteer Fire Department We respond and provide life saving help to those in need.

We are a 100% volunteer organization that is made up of members of the community. We work with both the citizen and insurance companies to provide you the lowest insurance rates. We offer training to the public in CPR and home inspections.

Monthly meeting tonight at 1930. Meal provided. Encourage all firefighters to attend

Also we have our Annual 9 11 Remembrance March on Saturday we will step off from Station One at 9 11 am and complet a 9.11 mile road march in honor of the civilians and first responders 25 years ago. Open to family members, juniors, members and auxiliary.

Open to all other other first responders from surrounding agencies. We will be going out to Gatti's Pizza after march around 1200.

Special thank you to Emergency Management, Rineyville Baptist Church, Central Hardin FD, Valley Creek FD, Radcliff FD, Elizabethown FD, Vine Grove FD, Flaherty FD, HCSO, Judge Exec, Hardin County Offices, Stephensburg FD, KY 86 FD, Skaggs RV, Masonic Brothers from local lodges and many others who made it possible to lay Brother Gary Yates to rest today. I apologize if we left any group out. Everyone is much appreciated.
We will all respond to that last alarm one day and others will take it from here.....hopefully we leave behind the type of selfless service, mentorship, sacrifice, and example that Chief Yates left behind for those following in the steps of Giants like him..

We were honored to take part of the visitation for Asst Chief Gary Yates. Special thank you to everyone who can out to support those working hard over last couple of days to make the visitation and services tomorrow possible.

Final visitation at RBC from 10 to 11, f I allowed up by the service at 11.

The funernal motorcade will be traveling thru Rineyville around 1145 to 1200. Traveling from church down 1600 to Patriot to Decker then up 220 to Rineyville Cemetery.

It is with heavy hearts and sadness we are announcing the passing and end of watch...of founding member Firefighter Gary Yates of Rineyville. As a firefighter and Board member Gary proudly served the citizens of Rineyville Community and Hardin County for over 40 years.

His funeral arrangements are being handled by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home of Radcliff. Visitation will be next Thursday from 1700 till 2000 at the funeral home and Friday at Rineyville Baptist from 1000 till 1200, followed by burial at Rineyville Cemetery. Firefighter honors will occur at graveside. We will update any changes.
