Thought he was in the clear… then his 2021 Suburban High Country gave up at just over 86k miles while climbing toward Flagstaff.

What makes it worse? It already passed the recall inspection about 4,000 miles ago back in February. The SUV died right as he crested the hill and had to be dragged home 180 miles by his old Square Body Chevy — thankfully the old truck made it without breaking down too!

Dealer says the repair should be covered, but after this experience he’s already talking about replacing it when he gets it back.

The One Rule at Car Shows… Don’t Do This

You’ve got a high-end, probably six-figure build sitting there with flawless paint, hours of bodywork, perfect fitment… and this guy is just casually leaning on it like it’s the tailgate of his work truck

At a show like SEMA, you KNOW the builder is somewhere nearby feeling a little nervous. One belt buckle, one button on those jeans, one small shift — and that deep candy paint could end up with a new mark.

That’s the unspoken rule at shows:
Look all you want.
Take pictures.
Appreciate the craftsmanship.
But don’t lean on it.

These builds aren’t just trucks — they’re thousands of hours, sleepless nights, and serious money.
