Dear RMS Families,
Wellllllll…we made it. 😅
The LAST DAY OF SCHOOL is TOMORROW. Cue the confetti cannons, emotional support snacks, and children suddenly forgetting every school rule we’ve practiced since August.
Here’s your annual “Please Don’t Make Us Chase Children Through Rigby” reminder…
Tomorrow is STILL a school day.
Like…a real one.
With rules.
And supervision.
And adults who enjoy knowing where children are. 😂
So if your student needs to leave campus early, they MUST be checked out IN PERSON by:
a parent/guardian, OR
someone listed on their PowerSchool check-out list.
We cannot allow students to just stroll out into the wild streets of Rigby all willy-nilly like they’re in a coming-of-age movie montage.
Every year, students are shocked by this information.
“Wait…you mean I can’t just leave?”
No, sweet child. You may not. 😂
And then suddenly we become:
“The meanest people alive.”
“The destroyers of fun.”
“The villains in their summer origin story.”
We promise we are none of those things. We simply enjoy things like:
student safety
accountability
not losing children before noon
A few more reminders for tomorrow:

Happy Summer!
