Our libraries serve as vital community hubs that offer activities and programs for residents of all ages, alongside a wide collection of books, online resources, technology, and helpful, high-quality staff. In 2025, the library had over 440,000 visits!

⭐️ This 1st week of June is our first ever Social Media Branch Takeover! This privilege goes to our very special New Castle Branch Library! 🌟

All week long, we’ll feature various posts of, for, and by the branch. It’s a chance to shed some extra light on our individual branches. Be sure to give a shout out to any of your favorite staff who happens to make an appearance! And don’t forget to stop by the New Castle Branch Library this Summer, as they’ll be in full swing with our many Summer Reading Challenge Events happening now through the end of July, along with the rest of our wonderful district. 🫶

Our Summer Reading Challenge has officially begun! 🦕
Now through July 31st, our district will be hosting a plethora of fun-filled events every week, beginning this week with our Dino-Mite Kick-Off Parties! 🏈

All Garfield County Libraries will be donating 100% of proceeds from June book sales to Access AfterSchool. Browse and select summer reads while supporting the important work of Access AfterSchool, which enriches the lives of youth, supports working families, and builds healthy communities by providing high quality afterschool and summer programs. Access serves over 1,300 youth from kindergarten through 8th grade each year.
