Community Fire Company #1, Station 42 is proud to serve Durham, Nockamixon, and Riegelsville residents. We are a volunteer fire department. Our goal is to save lives, protect property, and teach fire prevention. We are a full service Engine and Rescue company, with a Marine Unit for water rescues, two modern engines, and a tanker. We respond to alarm systems, automotive accidents, suspicious fumes, and, of course, incidents of smoke and fire.
We train in order to serve, and serve in order to save, rescue, and stabilize situations which may threaten the lives of the citizens in our area.
