Understanding property conditions can be a challenge. The North Central PA Vacancy & Distressed Properties Index aims to help!

Leveraging already existing data, this new data tool helps communities understand property conditions at a high level—and see how the community compares to other parts of our region.

This index:
🏚️ Combines multiple unique values to paint an overall picture of property conditions;
🏚️ Was developed using rigorous established methods;
🏚️ Provides comparable data throughout our region; and
🏚️ Supports research, intervention, and funding efforts.
