Hey, Ouray County! While our fabulous public health nurse is off on the adventure of maternity leave, we're thrilled to welcome a temporary vaccine nurse to our Public Health office starting the week of 9/7/26. We’re thankful to keep those vaccination appointments rolling, three days a week, over the next few months. Also, mark your calendars for our Back to School Community Vaccine Clinic on 9/19 from 10am to 4pm at the 4H Event Center in Ridgway. Plus, we’re working up two more Community Vaccine Clinics in October—one in Ridgway and one in Ouray! Dates are still in the works, so stay tuned!

💜 Supporting a colleague could matter more than you think:
Coworkers are often the first to notice when someone is struggling. It might look like a change in mood, increased absences, or someone becoming quieter than usual. Knowing what to look for and how to respond can make a real difference. Explore the resources below for guidance on recognizing warning signs and having conversations that matter.

🩵 A GENTLE REMINDER: You don't need to have the right words. If someone in your life seems a little different lately, reaching out is enough. A brief conversation, a genuine "how are you doing" — it doesn't have to be perfect to make a difference.
